A lion has been discovered in a residential building at Number 229, Muri Okunola Street in Victoria Island, Lagos. The lion is said to be two years old.
The owner of the lion is said to be an un-named Indian national. According to Channels Televison, Yinka Egbeyemi, Chairman of the Lagos State Task confirmed the story. He said men of Nigerian Police Force have been deployed to the area.
Yinka disclosed that efforts were being made by the State Government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to evacuate the Lion from the building.
He also added that the Indian national who owns the lion had been invited for questioning.
